Manaslu Itinerary

Daily itinerary: This itinerary may differ to circumstances out of our control.

  1. Kathmandu: You finally arrive in Kathmandu after your long international flight. A representative will meet you at the airport and transfer
      you to our favorite Kathmandu hotel, the Courtyard Hotel, where you will spend the day at leisure.
  2. Kathmandu: We hold the expedition briefing, finish paperwork for the Ministry of Tourism and the rest of the day is at leisure.
  3. Arughat: We take a private bus and drive to Arughat. If the road is in bad shape we may have to trek a short distance to our destination.
      We camp in the garden of our lodge for the evening.
  4. Soti Khola: Start the trek proper and trek to Soti Khola where we camp for the evening.
  5. Machha Khola: Trek to Machha Khola where we camp for the evening.
  6. Jagat: Trek to Jagat which is the gateway village to the Manaslu Conservation Area. Camp for the evening.
  7. Deng: Trek to Deng where we camp for the evening.
  8. Namrung: Trek to Namrung where we camp for the evening.
  9. Sama Goan Trek to Sama Goan the last village before base camp. We spend the evening in the local lodge.
10. Sama Goan: Our first acclimatization day at Sama Goan.
11. Sama Gaon: Our second acclimatization day at Sama Goan.
12. Base Camp: We make the short but steep trek to base camp.
13. Base Camp: We relax at base camp and help the acclimatization process.
14. Climb: Climbing begins.
47. Climb: Climbing ends.
48. Sama Goan: We make the short trek descending to Sama Goan and our lodge with beds.
49. Ghap: Trek to Ghap.
50. Philim: Trek to Philim.
51. Machha Khola: Trek to Machha Khola.
52. Arughat: The last day of the trek we arrive at Arughat.
53. Kathmandu: Drive to Kathmandu and enjoy the luxury comforts of the Courtyard Hotel.
54. Kathmandu: Day at leisure in Kathmandu.
55. Depart: Depart Kathmandu for home.
